Under 11
Players will be introduced to cricket skills batting, bowling and fielding using soft ball training sessions and games. Talented players will be identified and introduced to hard ball cricket and nominations made to district squads and county squads.
Under 13
Players will be coached in hard ball net sessions and participate in hard ball cricket games in a league and cup programme. In addition targeted skills sessions, including video analysis, will be used to develop core skills and technique. Talented players will be identified and nominations made to district squads and county squads.
Under 15
Players will be coached in hard ball net sessions and participate in hard ball cricket games in a league and cup programme. In addition targeted skills sessions, including video analysis, will be used to develop core skills and technique.
Talented players will be identified and nominations made to district squads and county squads. In addition players who are competent and confident will be invited to play in our 2nd XI, therefore introducing them to adult league cricket.
15+
Players can participate in adults training sessions and are eligible to play in any of our three senior teams. The 1st team play in the Palace Shield Competition and the 2nd team (Development team) play in the 1st Division of the Cumbria North Lancashire Cricket league and the 3rd team compete in the Barrow and District midweek 20/20 League.
